Sigma was created in 2009 by the molecular bacteriologist Dr Simone Xavier and Rene Xavier Filho, a civil engineer, who were both determined to shake up the makeup market. The Sigma brand can be seen to have revolutionised makeup application with its range of brushes. The brand initially launched one brush set, which sold out immediately. Today, Sigma has continued this legacy onwards with a whole line of forward-thinking makeup and even more brushes.The brushes are created with new and innovative polymers that are bonded together by extremely thin fibres.
