I purchase this for my husband.  The smell is lovely and it styles the hair without making it feel tacky or greasy.  A little goes a long way.  The pot is small though although it lasts a while.

Again, a quality product by American Crew that will not miss your expectations. Surely, the texture is quite thick so a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it might be to heavy for your hair. The product definitely adds shine and texture to the hair - I would recommend using it not for the complete styling of the hairstyle but for adding the final touch.

American crew pomade is great, medium hold with high shine. It's also water based, so it cleans easily in the shower. Much better than other gels, also consider Tigi's Manipulator if you want something with less shine.
