My skin has been going through some changes lately and no matter what moisturisers I’ve used, I’ve always felt like I needed a bit more hydration. 

I’ve also got quite sensitive skin and a lot of hyaluronic products I’ve tried have caused my skin to react so I was a little concerned about trying a new one.

But I’ve never reacted with any Aveda product that I’ve used so when I saw this one I thought I’d give it go.

It took a couple of weeks to see a noticeable difference in my dry problem areas and stubborn fine lines, but it seemed to have an immediate soothing and cooling affect. It’s left my skin feeling and looking fresh, but I’m not quite as hydrated as I was I would like. Having said that it’s not irritated me so at least I’m getting more hydration than i was getting before.  

It’s not an oily serum and once it’s in the skin it’s easy to work in. Applying it isn’t as easy though because the pipette isn’t great and you’ve not got much control over how much comes out. I’ll be honest I ended up just dipping it in and almost wiping it across the areas I wanted it to be. 

Overall it’s a good product with a light fresh smell, that is great if you have sensitive/reactive skin, but if you wanted a lot more hydration you might find it a little lightweight.
