Top Customer Reviews
Where reviews refer to foods or cosmetic products, results may vary from person to person. Customer reviews are independent and do not represent the views of Beauty Essentials.Water resistent, good for sensitive skin, no burns or redness while using it on holiday
Overall, it’s good for daily use with minor caveats.
I haven’t tested this in extreme/tropical/active conditions so will only comment on my experience using this daily in-office/WFH settings.
NB: Fitzpatrick III tan Asian skin, used as daily face SPF ( Eng, UK - March 23)
PROS
- elegant light cream
- high SPF/UVA claim
- new-generation filters (no salicylic acid derivs)
- high glycerin; hydrating
- minimalistic formula / 4 filters only
- free from octocrylene, avobenzone and homosalate (my preference)
- no white cast (I’m Asian and tanned)
- can be layered / no pilling
- “dewy-matte” on dry skin type
- compatible for sensitive skin including cancer or patients undergoing medical treatment
- economical 200ml size!
CONS
- potentially less compatible finish for oily types
- mild eye irritation if sensitive (alt: currently using LRP uv400 for eyes)
- UVAI and UVAII coverage is not clear (esp in 380-400nm wavelengths)
Good size bottle for the price. Wanted a SPF for my face and this has a lovely texture and doesn’t leave a greasy residue
