I have blind bought this perfume given the notes. I love the wood smell and wanted to enrich my existing perfumes by adding some depth and dimension to them.
I find this perfume a very good quality. I own already a sandalwood oil from the Swiss Arabian, so I can confirm the presence of a pure sandalwood. It is the dominating note here, and the cardamom is also detectable. I do not smell the amber though. This creation is not sweet at all, and performing very well! It is intended for a layering, and so I did. I sprayed on this perfume the Mimosa & Cardamom by Jo Malone. Let me tell you that what a stunning outcome I got! It was a very natural, flowery rounded soft perfume with a slight woods in the background. Just perfect! The reason I do not give this 5* is that I do not like the sandalwood that much as the other woods - it is a bit sour by the nature. And that this particular perfume is not wearable just on its own. But for the purpose which I have given above, it is flawless!
