I was using a cheap Nivea dual oil eye makeup remover, but they had changed the formula and so it wasn’t as effective as wiping off my waterproof mascara. I like DHC products so decided to give it a go. It’s great, but doesn’t completely wipe my waterproof mascara off as well as I had hoped. It’s still better than most eye make up removers however, just not the best. It’s also expensive for the amount and effectiveness, so 4 stars.

This makeup remover did its job well, makeup generally slid off with minimal effort. However, I think this will be suited to some skin types more than others. As someone with acne/oily skin, think this one was a bit too oily for my skin & recommend micellar type cleanser instead. If you have dry skin that loves oil and moisture this would be really great for you. Note it did sting my eyes if got any in there whilst rubbing off strong eye makeup, so if you wear heavy makeup a lot, might not want to deal with that.

As a fan of DHC, I really love its products, including this make-up remover liquid. It's a two-layer cleanser, so you need to shake it before using. I use it not only on eyes and lips, but also my face. It works well, quickly and easily dissolve the make-up on my face. I usually wear foundation/BB cream, concealer, blusher, lipstick and eyebrows. It leaves skin not too oily nor too dry. It's gentle enough for even sensitive skin.
