Not as good as Double Wear

I was so excited to try this. I have been using double wear (DW) for over 10 years, and this was supposed to be especially suitable for those with dry skin - excellent!
The first thing I noticed was the runny consistency - that told me straight away that I wasn't going to like the coverage. Yes it's buildable but I honestly don't have the time in the mornings to spend building up layers of foundation! I barely have time for applying all the skincare products I need!

Pros - it goes on well, the colour match is good (I went for the same colour as my DW colour), I like the fact that it comes with a pump.
Cons - I don't like the tube (I prefer the DW bottle), it's runny so harder to apply and takes longer to build more coverage, I haven't noticed any 'hydrating' properties at all, in fact I would say it's less hydrating that DW. It doesn't last as long as DW either.

So all in all, it's a no from me. I wish I had bought it in the summer as I imagine as a lighter coverage summer foundation it would work well. If you have dry skin and you hope this will go on better than DW, I think you will be disappointed.
BTW Estee Lauder - I don't want to have to buy 2-3 different priming, serum products to put on prior to putting this on thanks! Your foundation on its own is expensive enough, and it should work well on its own.
I will stick to DW in the future.

Lovely but quite oily

This is a lovely foundation which makes your skin glow and gives you that fresh girl look. However, if your skin is prone to breakouts, I think the oiliness of it will be a problem for you, as it has been for me. Although I absolutely love the look when I have it on, my skin does suffer afterwards, so I have moved back to Estée Lauder’s DoubleWear! I may look at trying it again in the summer when I want a sheerer look.
