I was advised to opt for these over traditional hair ties by my hairdresser as they are supposed to reduce hair fall/loss when removing and don't tend to kink the hair in the same way. I keep my hair tied up the majority of the time so have purchased both different varieties of these and satin or silk scrunchies. These are finer and smaller than rival brands which I found great but which someone with thicker hair may struggle with. I like the product but I can't say that I noticed substantially less hair fall overall.
