For optimal results, depress the dropper to dispense 1-2 measured drops of foundation on the back of your hand. Start applying in the centre of the face, where uneven skin tone is often the most apparent, or on any areas that need coverage, and blend outward onto the forehead, nose, and chin. Surratt recommends using a brush with dense bristles, like their Artistique Foundation Brush.

Great match for pale skin

Even though this (shade 1) is yellow it’s not a warm yellow so will work on a lot more people. For most foundations I tend to use a neutral or mix pink and yellow toned foundations together as I’ve a neutral leaning to warm undertone but this one melts into the skin with no need to add anything else. For reference I match to fair 05 W (sometimes with a bit of fair 03 C for a perfect match) in Colourpop and a mix of G11-G12 in glossier. If you’re someone with pale skin that finds most yellow toned foundations too warm on you, and need to mix or use neutrals to avoid looking like a Simpsons character, then this is excellent. It’s a lovely dewy but natural looking foundation, doesn’t make dry patches look worse and lasts long on my skin anyway.
