A lightweight formula that helps to lock eyeshadow firmly into place, the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer seeks to protect and intensify colour while offering up to 24 hours of crease-resistant wear.Suitable for all skin tones, the translucent primer sits comfortably on the eyes, working to minimise the appearance of shine and provide defense against blue light. Arjun bark extract helps to smooth the eye lids, aiming to create a flawless eyeshadow canvas, as a blend of licorice root and marshmallow root extracts seeks to leave the skin feeling nourished. Equipped with a doe-foot wand for optimal precision.

How to Use

Apply a pea-size amount on the eyelid using the doe foot applicator. Then, blend using a clean fingertip or a flat shadow brush from lash line up to the brow bone.  Allow for Shadow Insurance Primer to dry, then blend shadow effortlessly on top.Tip: To help eliminate smudging on the lower lash line apply a small amount of Shadow Insurance Primer using a clean fingertip or a flat shadow brush. Follow with eye shadow, eye liners, and mascara, if desired.

The best

The best eyeshadow base for me. I bought my first base almost 15 years ago and still can't replace it with anything. I liked the previous packaging better as it allowed me to use the product more economically, but it's not principal. The eyeshadow stays on perfectly!

Works beautifully

I’ve never used an eye primer before but did my research and this one came out as one of the best so thought I’d give it a try.
I very rarely wear makeup anymore but just concentrate on looking after my skin first and foremost now I’m 55.
I really wanted something that would cover up the veins and redness on  my eyelids and this works perfectly!
It completely covers them up and very natural looking and makes my eyes look brighter and I know that when I do choose to wear eyeshadow again it will show the true colours.
Very happy and definitely recommend!

Eyeshadow primer

This is a good base for eyeshadow but it is quite thin compared to other ones I’ve used.
